Voter ID Assistance
VoteRiders is a non-partisan, non-profit organization with a mission to ensure that all citizens have the information and ID they need to exercise their freedom to vote. VoteRiders works directly with people who are eligible to vote to obtain the state ID they need to vote, including any underlying documents (birth certificate, Social Security card, etc.).
Because cost should never be a barrier to voting, VoteRiders will pay for fees and transportation associated with obtaining an ID (including the costs of underlying documents). By working with VoteRiders, individuals not only have the ID they need to make their voices heard at the ballot box but also can use their state ID to assist with jobs, housing, travel, and much more.
VoteRiders is offering the following services for the 2024 election:
Voter ID Guidance: Visit VoteRiders website to learn what IDs will be accepted for voting in person or by absentee ballot
Voter ID Assistance: Voters who need assistance getting an ID can complete this form and a member of the VoteRiders team will contact them or they can call or text 866-ID-2-VOTE (866-432-8683).
Ballot Cure: VoteRiders will be running a Cure Program to assist voters who vote provisionally because they did not have an ID with them when they went to the polls. Anyone who casts a provisional ballot can complete this Cure Form to get help to make their ballot count.
